Engineers needed a faster workflow shaped around the work they actually carried out, including sites where reliable connectivity could not be assumed. What we built ------------- A phone- and tablet-friendly field platform organised from client to site, room and individual asset. Penguin Media Solutions engineers could identify equipment through barcodes or QR codes, work offline and record PAT, electrical, mechanical, installation and maintenance results against the correct asset. The system could also import export files from several PAT testing devices instead of forcing engineers to re-enter readings manually. The Result ---------- Penguin Onsite replaced generic paperwork with a custom workflow that made fieldwork faster and kept every result connected to the right client, location and asset. The same structured data produced PDF certificates, asset registers, failed-item reports, remedial work lists and client summaries ready for export. What the platform does ---------------------- Organises technical work through a clear client, site, room and asset hierarchy. Lets engineers capture PAT, electrical, mechanical, installation and maintenance results on phones or tablets. Uses barcode and QR labels to identify equipment quickly and supports offline working onsite. Imports test results exported by a range of PAT testing devices. Exports PDF certificates, asset registers, failed-item reports, remedial lists and client summaries.
